IELTS
IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System. It is a globally recognized test for checking the English language proficiency. The test is managed by the combined efforts of both University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations and the British Council IDP Education Pty Ltd. There are two editions of IELTS: Academic and General Training. Where Academic edition is designed for students who want to study abroad in professional courses the general edition is intended for those aspirants who want to go abroad for non-academic training, for immigration or for work experience. The IELTS test is recognised in many countries like UK, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa and many more.
TOFEL
TOFEL is a test for English. The test is intended to assess the English expertise of those whose native language is not English. TOFEL exam is managed by ETS (Educational Testing Service). The Universities or Colleges where English is considered as an official language, TOFEL is considered as the selection parameter for the admission purpose.
PTE
PTE is an examination criteria for those aspirants who want to study in UK, USA, Australia, and in other countries. PTE stands for Pearson Test of English Academic and is acknowledged by Australian DIAC and UK Border Agency for student visas. The motive of the test is to certify the English aptitude of students appeared in test for the purpose of education, travel or better employment.
